- Neurosciences Visit Type Optimization
As part of work to consolidate Neurosciences visit types, as of October 6, 2026, visits that were previously identified as phone or virtual/video follow-up visit types will instead be listed simply as a "Follow Up". The mode of the visit will no longer be apparent from the Visit Type name itself. Note that appointments booked before the change may continue to display the old visit types; as a result, you may see a mixture of the old and new formats on your schedule during the transition.
- How will I see whether a visit is by phone, video, or in-person?: There is a new "Mode" column available for the provider schedule. This column indicates the mode of the appointment, including phone and video visits. In-person appointments may not display an icon.
- Do I need to do anything?: If you have previously customized the columns displayed on your clinic schedules, the Mode column may not automatically appear. If you don't see Mode on your schedule as of October 6, add it following the below steps. As your different clinic schedules may have been customized separately, note this may need to be done for each schedule you routinely use.
- Select the clinic schedule you want to modify, then click the gear icon to “Edit selected schedule”.
- In the Schedule Editor, search for “mode” under Available Columns. Select Mode and click the “Add Column" button.
- Once Mode has been added to your Selected Columns, click “Accept” to save the change.
