- Format Enhancements for Connect Care Prescriptions
Effective September 1, 2026 at noon, the following changes will appear on Connect Care prescriptions, both printed and eFaxed:
- AHS wordmark replaced with "Alberta Health Shared Services" wordmark
- Addition of "Start Date" field
- Addition of "Indications" and "Indications Comments" fields (will display only if entered in order)
- Addition of "Weight" field for patients less than 18 years of age (will display only if entered in order)
- Removal of prescriber primary phone and fax numbers in the footer
- Tracked Prescription Program (TPP) exemption notice statement (in eFax prescription report only, when prescribed at a TPP-exempt site, even if no TPP medications are ordered)
