- Updates to Iron Ferric Derisomaltose Therapy Plan
To address prescriber workflow concerns and increase efficiency, as of June 9, 2026, the Iron Ferric Derisomaltose Adult Therapy Plan will be separated into two separate therapy plans, based on medication dose and patient weight:
- Iron Ferric Derisomaltose 1000 mg – Adult OR Greater than or equal to 50 kg
- Iron Ferric Derisomaltose 500 mg – Adult OR Less than 50 kg
When a prescriber searches for the therapy plan after the change, they will see both options (click the camera icon for a screenshot), and each will have the relevant medication order preselected.
