- Fetal/Neonatal Demise Symbol on Storyboard
As of December 16, 2025, the orange leaf icon - which signifies fetal or neonatal demise or death - will be displayed on the Storyboard and within the Obstetric History hover bubble for applicable patients in all inpatient and ambulatory settings (click the camera icons for screenshots), to promote consistency and patient sensitivity while preserving existing workflows. Previously, this icon was visible only on the Greaseboard in Women’s Health inpatient units.
The leaf icon will appear when a fetal or neonatal demise is:
- documented in the L&D Delivery Summary Outcome in the past 90 days; OR
- recorded in the OB History of a pregnancy with a button for loss in the past 90 days.
The icon will be automatically removed after 90 days.
