- New Ambulatory/Inpatient DI Interventional Radiology Order Sets
Following a temporary inactivation, the following diagnostic imaging (DI) interventional radiology order sets will again be available in Connect Care for ambulatory and/or inpatient, on either November 6 or November 25, 2025 (as indicated below). Going forward, many DI requests (as listed below) will only be available to order through these order sets. The order sets will guide prescribers to submit the appropriate sampling requests, and will ensure these requests are in an appropriate phase of care so they are not missed by the radiologists, nurses, and technologists who collect the samples.
- New order sets available November 6:
- Interventional Radiology Thoracentesis/Paracentesis (Ambulatory/Inpatient)
- Interventional Radiology Fluid/Abscess Aspiration/Drainage (Ambulatory/Inpatient)
- Interventional Radiology Joint Aspiration/Injection (Ambulatory/Inpatient)
- Interventional Radiology Mass/Organ Biopsy (Ambulatory/Inpatient)
- New order set available November 25:
- Ambulatory Interventional Radiology Lumbar Puncture
- DI requests only available through order sets:
- Angiography/Ultrasound Guided Aspiration and/or Injection
- Angiography/CT/Ultrasound Guided Fluid Aspiration
- Angiography/CT/Ultrasound Biopsy
- Thoracentesis/Paracentesis Procedures
