- Results Routing Change for After-Discharge Orders Placed During an Inpatient Encounter
As of August 28, 2025, results for after-discharge ambulatory orders placed during an inpatient encounter (e.g., in the Discharge navigator or External Orders) will route to the Authorizing Provider instead of the last Attending. There is no change to results coming back post-discharge that were collected during the admission.
- If the Authorizing Provider is also the Attending, there will be no change observed.
- Other prescribers placing orders to be performed and followed up after discharge will now receive results directly.
