- Update to Eating Disorder Admission Order Sets (Adult and Pediatric)
As of October 21, 2025, the Eating Disorder Admission order sets (Adult and Pediatric versions) have had guidance text updated to align with the Ensure product available on formulary, including the calorie replacement ratio.
Previously the Diet Instruction to Nursing Order stated "If meal not completed then substitute Ensure 1:1 calories to best estimate". As Ensure Regular is no longer available, the Diet Instruction to Nursing Order has been updated to "If meal not completed then substitute Ensure Plus Calories 1 mL=1.5kcal to best estimate".
