- Virtual Health Order Name Changes
To align with the new provincially agreed upon convention for home-based acute care, the following virtual health order names have changed:
- Inpatient Consult to Virtual Hospital order is now called Inpatient Consult to Virtual Home Hospital
- Ambulatory Referral to Virtual Hospital order is now called Ambulatory Referral to Virtual Home Hospital
Currently, the only department that can receive these orders is the Edmonton University Alberta Hospital Virtual Hospital (Kaye Clinic Edmonton - Virtual Hospital). Additional departments in Calgary Zone will go live with Connect Care Launch 6.
